    ... with many chair lifts and T-bars) and caught the cable car down to laTour. From la Tour we started walking towards Argentiere but ended up stopping at Montroc where we hopped onto a train to Argentiere with some fellow travellers. With the day done, 18km later and having climbed +3000 feet, we were spent and happily checked into our hotel and hit the hot tub and swimming pool. Tomorrow is our last day of hiking where we return to our original starting point, ...

    Trying to keep a young family together in this amazing area is like herding cats while trying to nail jell-O "OMG…I LOVE HER HEELS!!" …..to a wall.

    ... Angela wowed us with fresh pizza. Mmmmm…felt like we were in a 5 star restaurant. Now that we knew where to get wine, we were on "sommelier duty" and she was the chef du jour! Once again she had us entranced with her European adventure stories, and had me making a mental note about all the Italian villages that we absolutely needed to visit.

    Ahhh…I love "restaurant" nights!

    ... Blanc. Yette (from the Netherlands) and I had a delish sorbet in the shade by the lake and soaked our feet in the freezing water.
