Stop in Berne, the capital city of Switzerland en route to Lake Genève. Visit the town of Montreux, famous for its Jazz Festival, before enjoying a lakeside drive to Evian les Bains on the southern slopes of Lake Genève. Departed Zurich at 9am to head to Bern. ... ready for harvest, pine forest groves and grape growing areas. We crossed the Swiss border just after Lucanne which we bypassed for traffic ease. Our track followed Lake Geneve for about 2 hours. This beautiful waterway was flanked on one side by terraced grape vines and on the other by Swiss Alps. We woke up and decided to drive to the other side of Lake Geneva. We planned on visiting Gruyere (Yes, home of the cheese) and Broc, which is home to Callier chocolate factory. After that we would drive through Montreux and visit the Chateau de Chillon. If we have time afterwards, we are going to rent a boat and explore the lake near Geneva.

... cole, is a beautifully made big wooden space, shutters, heavily insulated, massive flat screen, generators etc. The observatory itself is the classic barrel and dome with a big telescope under a steel rotating dome. He has calibrated it, tuned it, lined it up so you can point to the digital map and it goes to the one you asked for. It is very impressive.
