... or fried potatoes (the latter is called "rosti" and was eagerly welcomed by Judith, who remembered it fondly from last fall!) and a dessert of fruit salad. A little lounge time to upload pictures, then off to bed. Sadly, we are to be up and packed early in the morning, and since it will either rain or snow in the night, we have to work a little extra time into the morning equation to get to the gondola station with luggage! ... Murren, a small village deeper and higher into the Alps. After a short train ride and a lift up the funicular, we had a Swiss cheese fondue lunch while enjoying a breathtaking view of the Swiss Alps - could we get any more Swiss than this?

Afterwords, we explored the villages, admired a waterfall, and even accidenally discovered a path that took us behind the waterfalls! I'll be writing about this more in the "Best of" blog as well.
