    Lovely family-run hotel, great friendly atmosphere. Easy walk from Interlaken West station & also into town. Large room with mountain view, very comfortable

    ... I felt like a world class downhill skier because i was at my pace. I beat the train down and then took my ski stuff and jj's skis down the mountain and returned in my shoes with everyone else s shoes to change into. I met the others coming to the station and we went down the mountain. The eveining was pasta and fondue which was great, although i became jjs personal servant because of the arm in a sling.

    We had rain overnight and on waking it was damp, gloomy and overcast. After breakfast we strolled into Interlaken rather than taking the bus to do a bit of grocery shopping. After lunch the weather was not promising - one or two short spells of sunshine and warmth, so we did not venture forth, opting to potter about - David cleaning the bikes, me doing the ironing.
