This morning Graham and Christine (old family friends of the Eads) joined us for breakfast. It was a full house with Nicky, Ben and Abigail also staying. Poor Ben was all upset when he had to go off to school. Must have felt like he was missing out on all the fun. Nicky's 40th in Bath
... the bus in and went to Bath Thermal Spa. We met Christine (Jen's old friend) and her daughters Sharon & Sarah as well. There were four floors you could use and we started with the rooftop pool. It was soooooo warm. It was like a spa. But when you first stripped off, the pavers were absolutely freezing, so you had to rush on tiptoes to get into the water to get warm. Weston-Super-Mare
Today was another gorgeous day with clear blue skies and sunshine. We jumped in the car after breakfast and headed to Weston-Super-Mare. Took about 40mins, we parked and walked along the seafront, before walking out the pier. The kids had a ball on some of the rides (simulator, and dodgems). Glastonbury & Shepton Mallet
... shopping. We stopped for a hot chocolate at Starbucks, then picked up Nicky's birthday present (a nice watch). Steve took Jonah down to his old Rugby club to catch up with some old friends, before joining us back home for lunch. Cornwall - Bodmin, Lanlivery & Dobwells
... hospitality and were not disappointed. Whilst we were there Karen's mother and sister called in to say hello too. We stayed with Karen, David and their three kids for a couple of hours before heading off to meet Geoff's other cousins for a pub lunch in Lanlivery.
