    ... way up. The ride down was great and we passed through Sorica which is apparently famous for Ivan Grohar. He was an orphan who later travelled to Germany to develop his talent as an impressionist artist. I later googled his life and found it to be quite interesting. After 5-6 hrs we arrived at Zelezniki clicking our heels with delight...... Until we discovered that this town was void of any accommodation. If fact it was void ...

Wide walkways on either side of the slow, meandering Ljubljana River that runs through the center of town are filled with couples, families and young adults strolling and dodging the ever-present bicyclists who are carefully and slowly making their way through the endless procession.
