The view from the bus window

Today was an early start because the bus for Mui Ne beach left at 8am. At 10.30am the bus arrived so we could leave. Despite my concern that a five hour bus trip in Vietnam had the possibility of being very painful it was actually a great trip. I got two seats to myself, there was airconditiong....and no karaoke! I spent the whole time looking out the window, catching fascinating glimpses of life where there aren't any tourists. Seeing a 'slideshow' like that made me realise what a place of c...

So, annoyingly we have to catch the 1 o'clock bus to Da Lat and roll in around 6ush, after a very bumpy ride up the mountain side. For the first time in a long while, I'm actually cold! It's very much like home here - that is, cold, rainy, the terrain is mountainous and they grow leeks (hence the Jack Adams inspired title). <br>The next morning we wake up, after a painful shower (I accedentally turned the water heater off), and organize a 'Easy Rider' trip.
