Dalat was the final destination of an amazing and unforgettable past couple of days. After choosing to take the inland route instead of following the beaches, we got our bus tickets refunded, hired a couple of guides, some road bikes, and we set off to ride through the vast untouched wilderness of the Vietnamese Highlands. Leaving here we visited a silk factory which was so interesting and really made me aware of how much we take for granted, making anything with silk is such a long, arduous and skilled task. We were shown each stage from the worm in it's cocoon all the way to the finished scarfs, the work is intricate and done by women as their small hands are more gentle and accurate. ... Sinh Cafe so we popped in and booked our bus to Nha Trang on Tuesday.
Our hotel has some connection to V Cafe so on the back of both business cards is a map that includes the other, although neither of us had much faith, we decided to follow this and find our way back! WE DID IT!! Yay us!!
