... lost following all the narrow, curving, spiralled paths, while having a peek at rooms you could apparently hire for the night! Not sure I would pay the crazy amounts charged, but it was very cool. Following this was always going to be a tough ask, and unfortunately Bao Dai Summer Palace failed quite badly. The palace was nothing like we were expecting, and turned out to be quite unspectacular. The large house was preserved in its 60's style decoration, ...

We got recommended a restaurant outside of the waterfall area by a Vietnamese women but I'm pretty sure we went to the wrong restaurant afterwards. Scott pulled up at this house with two tables at the front, the lady said yes and run away. We were left with the little girl playing barbie on the television. The old ...

... a waterfall hits you, then you're lowering yourself into it until the rope runs out and you drop straight into an area of Rapids which sucks you under and spins you round before spitting you out... The clue was in the name!

With a huge sense of personal accomplishment, the journey back to town was a time to meet some more new friends who we were to meet again a few times at later dates; a great end to a soul-enriching, if not slightly terrifying, ...
