... Nanchong there were some fantastic walking opportunities just on the door step to the city. Straight away you could get into nature and see lots of creepy crawlies like the praying mantis in the pics - one of my fav's.

There was also a bit of a Buddha theme park where they are making a new largest Buddha. This was a good contrast to the ancient one we'd seen before and really drove home the efforts involved in the construction of the first.

We are very sad to be leaving the Carsons. Chengdu is a great city, made much better when we are with our friends.
