I lucked out, arriving at 6:30 and catching a 7:05 train then landing a middle seat until halfway home when the guy in the middle seat got off and no one replaced him. The 100 Day Celebration is a big milestone day in China and we felt
privileged to be invited to join in the celebrations for our friends,

We can now paint peonies, perform tai chi, find the 10 pressure points for acupuncture and say hello and thank you in mandarin! Not sure which 5 year plan was responsible but the resourcing of the university was amazing. ... however this museum seemed a little too much like a rallying cry to the Chinese in a PR war against the Japanese. Much of the information referred to China being aware of its enemies in the future and not forgetting what had been done to them in the past.
