Tomorrow is exactly one week since we left the Netherlands, but because of all the events during these last few days it feels a lot longer. It dawns on us that it is a very exhausting period for us. It is a fantastic experience that we'll never forget but it certainly asks a lot from us. A beach vacation seems quite appealing at this moment...white crystal sand beaches..palm trees, drinking from a coconut with ...

Unfortunately the thick clouds and drizzle hadn't eased during the night and so we set off with our bright yellow trousers and rain jackets into the mist. The signage was challenging and required a number of stops to point at the mandarin characters we had on a ...

Our classes at USTC have begun already and we are now in the new EPC on the East campus. It's nice being on the same campus where we live because it is a short walk to class, so it saves us some time from having to catch the bus over to the West campus, or brave the crowded roads riding my bike.

I started this semester out by getting tricked by the weather; last week the weather was up around 70 degrees F and beautiful, so I cleaned and ...
