Ramadan turned out to be a great time for us to be in KT. It is a conservative city dominated by Muslim culture and we were able to experience the communal goodwill and blissful vibe at this special time. It felt much different than the Buddhist dominated neighboring countries and even different from the more multicultural cities within Malaysia.

Tak mame konecne za sebou prejezd z Langkawi do Kuala Terengganu. Posledni den na Langkawi bzl dost destivy, takze nas ani tolik nemryelo, ze ho opoustime. Jen jsme meli trochu strach, aby nas cestou nezastihla podobna prutrz mracen jako v noci.

Rough sleep!
23rd June I arrived in Kuala Terengganu at half one in the morning. It was a good job that the bus station was right in the middle of town even though it didn't matter in the end because when it came to looking for hostels, There was none. I must of walked around for a good hour looking.
