    TRain from Milan to SML

    Saturday Milano to Santa Margherita
    ligure (SML)
I was up early this morning to pack up
and head off to SML. I had looked up times for trains to SML and the
12:00 train seemed the best and cheapest direct train but at my flat
I could not print out tickets. When I got to the station SML would
not come up as a destination on the ticket machines so I had to wait
in the long (45min) queue. As it turned out ...

We left there and took off past Santa Margherita, passed a huge French cruise ship which had been in Port for the last couple of days and travelled East past Rapallo. From here we went to the rocky cliffs and cruised back toward home, from that direction. It was quite different scenery as it is quite heavily ...

... would like white or red wine with our meal, I said “red” and he just came back with the red he thought would be best suited to what we had ordered. It was unreal. And then, after our desert, (liquorice crème caramel), he bought us all a glass of desert wine. All of these extras were of no additional cost, and the meal was not expensive at all.

This is just like a dream to me. The whole thing is seriously unbelievable.

Today was a getting Ash sorted and settled
day. He is exhausted so we took it
slowly, showing him where the supermarket is, how to use the washing machine
and he had a visit to the hairdressers.
He looks fantastic, he's had an absolute ball and he just wants to eat
and chill for a little while and get healthy ...

... They came up to have a drink and as we sit down, fire works start going off right outside our room. We had prime position. It is 11 pm and the fireworks went for half an hour. They were incredible, and it was just so fantastic that we were all together, completely blown away with the event. At 11.30 the concert begins. God knows what time it will finish. It sounds like the band is in my lounge room.
