    ... our disgust the streets are pretty vile and a little smelly, we heard Pattaya had a res light district but the whole town? We walk down to the beach and to our horror you cant actually get on the beach with just your own beach towel- oh no sunny Jim, you HAVE to rent a chair.     ... beer. At 8.30 into the minibus to see a cabaret at a theatre downtown, 'Tiffany's'. It lasted for an hour and a half until 10.30. Pretty girls, who, after a bit of concentration, the innocent amongst us realised they were the well known Thai 'ladyboys'. A bright, noisy, colourful and different show, mimed to music.     ... and that is what we did. We tended to get up mid morning, have breakfast and then head up to the rooftop pool where we would stay until it was time for lunch.
