We left the ship late and spent some time using the Port's free wifi. We were heading to the bus stop to take a bus into town when we ran into an enterprising taxi driver. Travel tip: the area around the cathedral has lots of shops and hotels and is very colorful. If I were going to stay in Malta, that would be the place.

The hotel – Contiki Corfu beach village. I got up at 8.30am – a very nice sleep in. I showered, dressed and got ready for the day. My air-conditioning had been fixed last night so it was nice in the room. I then walked down the hill to the breakfast room. I had now found the stairs and some short cuts.
