... 30 minutes long and very comfortable. We got to Playa del Carmen, walked around with our suitcases for a while and finally found our Bed and Breakfast (Google maps originally took us the wrong way). We then walked to the beach (across the street from our b&b). We walked around for a bit then found a local restaurant, had a burrito and frijoles, with horchata. Walked around some more, came back to the hotel and fell asleep quickly. ...

IE and IE Party
And finally we all passed the IE that was held on the 18th and 19th March 2015 and then proudly went directly to the IE Party that this time was organized by the other DMTs! Thanks to all the DMTs who planned and prepared such a great party at the DM house:

... to Chetumal. I got 50% student discount and therefore only paid 150 pesos instead of 300. Bargain for a 5h ride! Afterwards I went back to Starbucks to continue planning. Initially the deal was that I would go with Ailed and her mum and sister to a nice restaurant to enjoy a proper Christmas meal. They would contact me when they were leaving the house and I would meet them in the city. Well, at 10pm Starbucks kicked me out and I still hadn’t heard from them. So I left ...
... I decided to try all three as did Bryce. He gave me the strawberry macaroon and Bryce the pistachio one.
We sat there enjoying or little treasures. My favourite was the chocolate covered brownie, Bryce loved the macaroon. A few minutes later our waiter was back pushing another cart with 8 desserts on top. All done up with flare. He described them all, some with ice cream on the side, some were flaky, there was chocolate mousse, tiramisu, cannoli stuffed ...
In Mexico the plan is to head from Tulum to Valladolid visiting Chichen Itza and continuing to Merida, Campeche, Palenque and San Cristobal de las Casas from where we will head to Guatemala. Easter is approaching fast as well and we need to remember to keep it in mind in terms of planning the route as some places get incredibly busy (and more expensive) during the Semana Santa.
