Laimonas informed us that our walk around the Old Town yesterday with him was actually a bit over 17 kms, strewth, no wonder we were a bit tired last night!! As the guys had apple pie for dessert, I tried the mead. It did say 75% alcohol on the menu. It tasted like paint stripper though may be insulting paint stripper. I had thought the black balsam in Latvia tasted bad but it was like ambrosia compared to this stuff. The others were amused at my struggle to down it.
