Meandering back towards cathedral square along Gedimino Prospektas we looked at one of the Duke's Palaces and also at the Government building. Ruta’s office is lined with book shelves, housing a collection that would have kept Elaine and me busy for a week or more just rummaging and reading. ... a flag, a guardian symbol and a constitution. The area is full with artists and free thinkers and it’s a pretty cool area that just adds to the intrigue of this very interesting city.

... but not for Sunday. We had to wait three hours before realizing the last bus on the schedule wasn't coming.
