After a couple of days of long haul drives and with the big flat nothingness of the central US looming on the horizon a break was needed. We decided on Milwaukee for a couple of nights to accomplish this.

... family wedding. The ceremony was held in an outdoor setting on the shore of Lake Michigan. It had rained the night before but the day turned out to be spectacular, albeit a little chilly. Afterwards we attended a lively fun-filled reception at the Radisson Hotel, where we had a delicious dinner followed by several toasts and dancing.

... Along the way we passed the massive Miller Park baseball grounds where the Brewers play. We paid $5 to park in some guy's backyard and walked across to the entrance where all the amusement rides were. It was another $9 to get in then $30 for some ride tickets. I can just see Art now, looking under all of the bikes, it would take you guys forever to get out of there. Even so Karen, they have the cutest little deli to sit and wait for him. Ask me how I know.
