Milwaukee Days Inn Wauwatosa

I'm working on a grant for the National Institutes of Health that is due early next week. Once that's done, it's full-on preparation for our month-long Journey to India. Daisy is doing her Santa impression (making her list, checking it thrice) and we received 4 new pieces of luggage the other day. <br><br>The airline tickets are booked and now we just have to finalize some domestic trips while on the sub-continent.<br>

Exciting times! One more day before the big trip and we are doing out last minute preparations before we go. There are things to be packed though and that will get done tonight and then a little bit more tomorrow. We have an evening flight so we should be pretty well rested and ready to scout about Copenhagen as soon as we get checked into the hotel.<br><br>Stay tuned for more!<br>

Anyway thanks to the hospitality of Rob and his friends (well most of them j/k lol rofl), although short-lived, I had a great time in Milwaukee and certainly hope to visit again.

... with the parking shuttle as the one we boarded didn't have a gate opener so it was only a terminal to terminal bus. Aggravating to say the least but we eventually made it to the Jeep and arrived home after a short stop at Famous Dave's BBQ.

... pretty good and as I looked outside watching the Midwest workers de-icing the plane, the snow seemed to be coming down a little bit harder and faster. As 8:30 rolled around, there was no announcement about the flight being delayed so I didn't worry too much. ... After our experience with the American Airlines security line the time we went to Detroit, I don't think we ever want to experience that bit of hecticness again. Next entry will hopefully be from Chicago as I will be looking for an Internet connection once we get there and settled into the lounge. If not, then it will be from Rome, woohoo!
