... savings of not having to stay at a motel or eating out in restaurants it's not so bad. Jan has a new "scrubby-thing" on a stick that she's going to use on the windshield. It just drank a quarter of a big bottle of Dawn. Can't wait to see if it actually works because we wiped out a large percentage of the flying insects between North Carolina and here today. So far she has soap all over the ground and herself. Not sure if the windshield is deriving any benefit. Will keep you ...

It was a gorgeous day and we left in good time. Hershey is only a little over 2 hours drive time for us, so it was an easy drive. We stopped at Starbucks on the way and shared a Mocha Frappuccino (no whipped cream) and arrived in Hersey a little after 12. We decided to go to the Parkside Hotel (NO Vacancy-ever!) for lunch. ...

We got an early start this morning, knowing we had about 300 miles to cover, many of those miles through some beautifully mountainous terrain. It rained pretty much all day, causing me great distress as I tried to capture the beautiful Fall colors we drove by most of the way - however, being as persistent as I am with the camera, there will be a few to share.
