    ... a window seat (hooray, my favourite) and had great views once we had cleared the rain clouds over Malta.


    I managed to spot the mountains of Corsica then the weather really cleared as we crossed the snow-capped peaks of the Pyrenees; the good views continued and I saw the Eastenders map come to life as we flew over London. The sun was shining as we flew ...

    ... we were staying. The journey was great in that it gave us good views of quite a bit of Malta, and the temperature read-out at the front said 18C, so we were very happy! Our overriding impressions were of grand-looking houses interspersed with derelict ones, and fields separated by rubble walls or hedges of prickly pear.

    ... like Melbourne. We decided to head straight back to Blackburn England. Crossing over the border the Sun is shining in England, we arrive back at Neville's place & organise with Neville to get drop our bags back at Brian's before drop the car back to the car rental. We need to organise another to get to Holyhead in Wales for Monday & car rental does not have a car bigger enough for all our suit cases. We head back ...

    ... of the English accents which sound sophisticated regardless of the actual verbatim. So far the people of York have been very helpful and sweet in suggesting the best place for traditional fish and chips--in fact, we're heading to a recommended restaurant with our professor shortly to try the local dish and ale! That's all for now, looking forward to York Minster tomorrow!
