We departed Killarney today and set out for Dublin. Along the way though we stopped at both Blarney and Cashel. Luck was on our side and the weather was glorious again. This meant that the kids could all make it up Blarney Castle to kiss the Blarney Stone! The grounds of the castle are actually quite expansive. They contain a poison garden, a newer home, a fairy garden and some other fun tidbits. It was lovely ...

Our first stop on the tour was the Hill of Tara. Collum said the relics there had been there ...

Arriving in Dublin in the early afternoon we luckily drove straight past the Guinness Factory, of course we had to head in for a tour. Being a Saturday afternoon every Paddy and his Mary were on deck which made it a fairly busy place. The tour is self guided starting at the brewing process ...

Dublin' Back To Dublin

... standard American light beer ... Thus the ads saying "Drink Guinness, it's good for you," and "Guinness for Strength!"
With our newfound strength and "health," we made an attempt to also visit the Jameson distillery just across the Liffey river to the north. We did visit, but it's quite a popular location so we enjoyed the scenery while Karla, the whiskey enthusiast of the group, enjoy a special local beverage.
For our final group dinner of the trip, Jen did some ...
