    ... new Meritz Hotel has a rooftop bar. I was the only patron and I decided to have my dinner somewhere a bit more lively.

    But it was very nice to have a glass of wine and to look out over Miri as the sun was setting. It is strange but even after everything that has changed, I still feel very much at home here. I feel like the soul of Miri is still intact, regardless of the deflated Wednesdays' nightlife, and I really hope those glossy marina plans won't be able to change that ...
