... the girls most of the sunbathing. On the way back we called in at a supermarket to get supplies for tonight's dinner which the girls are now preparing. It promises to be a sumptuous feast of chicken, potatoes and veg. Lauren and I are actually sick of eating in restaurants so it will no doubt be a welcome change.

Headhunting went into decline in the 1840's but saw a brief revival when British troops encouraged locals during the Japanese invasion in WW2. So a great part of the local tradition is no longer practiced.
