... made for amazing scenery. We had a lovely afternoon, we missed Marni, it will be great when the four of us can ski together.
I managed to get better at skating today, but just as I stopped I over balanced and put my arm out to stop the fall, it was the arm I have had the injury on for the last half of this year. I thought it had been getting better up until we got to skiing. Les Houches interchanges between runs involve ...
... bottom and slowing down to reach the carpeted area. She was also getting on the rope lift on her own. She only had a couple of falls, usually due to a traffic jam on the rope lift when one of the kids had fallen over. We determined that in the afternoon we would try to reinforce the snow plough. (Marni had other ideas, but we will come back to that!)
Nanny and Grandpa went off to go and do the Aillouds blue run.
After ski ...
... just ski straight and stop, and she was in between us, she could either hold hands or put them on her knees. She did awesome! We did this most of the way down the nursery slope, and just at the last little bit, Matt took her again and put her in between him so she could ski, but he could guide her across to the chair lift. Today too, Marni walked on her skis, so the new pink skis definitely made a difference - thanks Anne!
Lunch was steak haches and chips, plus some 'hot wine' and juice for the kids. The kids sat back...as you can see and we all enjoyed a relax. Brody didn't, he was just keen to get back out there.
After lunch we all stayed on the nursery slope, Matt, Nanny and I with Marni, and Grandpa following Brody who had found a friend from ski school, Ruben and was off skiing and exploring with him. Pretty quickly, ...
... 4x4 - it fitted everything in and we were away.
We met at the apartment within about 15mins of each other and they even let us into the apartment- at about 1 instead of after 4pm! Great! Then it was off to get lunch, Roz and Rob did a food shop, we went and got skies and boots etc and showed the kids around a little.
For dinner it was off to Anne and Rogers...Marni had slept through lunch ...
