Off to Manchester after supper to be next to the airport for the early morning flight! Need to check in at 6.40 am (sigh)... But very excited to get on the way! Hoping for an upgrade due to it being my birthday (10th feb), however, will be very surprised if i get one! Fingers crossed. Etihad flight to Bangkok via Abu Dhabi ...

We leave Edinburgh and farewell Scotland this morning, we visit Jedburgh on our way out of town, we see the ruins of the Abbey and then we are off and heading for the border. It is freezing outside today, so a quick photo opportunity at the border and we are back in England. ... reason. As the kitchen/ living area is quite large the fan should assist in spreading the warm air and as it uses the seeborne effect we dont need any elec for it. And it was half price too! unfortunately I had it delivered to the Kerhuel address thus losing half of the saving!

I managed to find a very interesting antique folding silver medicine spoon for Ann. She is still suffering with the 'chest thingy' so thought that this would cheer her up. It has an Italian 800 mark ...

... and fruit bushes/shrubs. So the winter progressed with me working with my students on line, Ann doing her proofreading and planning the new potager. One result of some very heavy snow in February was the truck being crashed into, some berk skidded down the road and into the back of it. After a very stressful month we eventually got it back from the garage two days before our booked, and paid for, ferry crossing.
