... Avery and I paid egregious amounts for coffee at cafes just to use the wifi. Next, you will see several photos of streets and buildings around our apartment and along the way to our classes. Getting to campus involves a relatively steep grade uphill 20 minute walk. The area is quite hilly and thus it is something to get used to. Plus when I'm older I can tell people I walked uphill both ways to classes or something.

Anywho - arrived in Manchester - yes - rainy, cold etc and got on the Freeda Neet (Friday night) booze train to Cleethorpes ( via Sheffield) the booze train it is because several people brought their beers on and we had to lift our tiny but heavy cases over Mr Cider's legs as he sprawled across the aisle. ... to Pupil ratio rose above the department average of 1:12 reaching the dizzy heights of 1:15 ! This was local democracy in action and 'forced' all three Maires in the local area to attend a demonstration breakfast. Yep the manifestation was catered, how very typically Breton. The only schools I know of in UK that have 1:12 are in the private sector where the pressure from fee paying parents ensure that their children benefit from smaller group sizes.
