This has become just a transit stop for us. Gen's unique illness has contributed to the lassitude she usually feels in Manila, so we don't do anything. Even the suggestion of going to our favourite Turkish restaurant and saying goodbye to Tigger isn't enough to rouse her. Of course, as it is Manila, there is time to fit in one more taxi scam.
