Sharm El-Sheikh, Red Sea and Sinai, Egypt mbahareth... obviously not his real name), had some 'genuine' Louis Vuitton cases and, after a particularly long sales negotiation, we managed to get one for 250 Egyptian pounds (about GBP25). Having had more than our recommended daily allowance of hassle, we took taxi back to our hotel in order to spend some time by the pool. Sharm El-Sheikh, Red Sea and Sinai, Egypt pauljlee... cameras allowed boooo), such as Tutankhamuns Mask and sarcophacgus and granite coffin and some other gorgeous, intricate, impossibly large and heavy carved granite things that I can't imagine anyone creating or moving now without a crane, let alone 5000 years ago. Aswan, Luxor, Dahab, Egypt michelle05This was my first holiday with friends and my my I fell in love with Sharm! The clear blue sea, the sandy beaches, the markets and clubs and the warm people...had ten great days filled with lots of fun and laughter and have been back again and hoping to go back soon.

One great trip to all travellers: I always take a global sim with me...ensures I can stay in touch with my family and friends and save on extortionate roaming charges. I got mine from www.theglobalsim.net
I've lost my certification dive card, and my only options were to do an intro dive (baby dive in 8-10 metres of water in the worst place) or take my open water all over again. To be honest, I should have just taken the course again. It's been years since I dove, Dahab would have been a cheap place to recertify. Oh well.
Dahab, Egypt djchurch... much raced down the mountain. Partly because whenever I did try to stop and give my legs a rest my knees were trembling so bad I had to keep moving or they would have buckled under me. When I got to the bottom I lay down on the rocks and enjoyed the sun while I waited for Bonnie, Mabs and Moses. When they reached the bottom we went into the monastery for a few minutes, nothing too impressive except for the burning bush. Seems hard to believe they can identify this ...
