... from the heat as temp. had now reached 37 Celsius. Inside the temp. of the cave was around 15 degrees Celsius. The cave was discovered in the mid 1800s and only opened to the public in 1997. Next we went to the cliffside city of Vrbnik. Luckily, the town street were only built for people, no cars, which made for a pleasant walk in the shade of the town buildings. Hi Everyone. Today we packed up our apartment home for the last 5 days and said goodbye to our hosts. They highly recommended that we visit a national park which they said was very beautiful and the pride of Croatia. Without knowing anymore about it than that we put it in the GPS and off we went.
