Im Anschluss haben wir die Skala besucht, Mailands berühmte Oper. Besser gesagt, besuchen wollen, denn sie machte erst 2h später auf. Am Rathaus auf der anderen Seite des Platzes stand allerdings eine riesige Schlange Menschen und fror sich in der Kälte alles ab – für eine kostenlose Sonderausstellung zu Amor & Psyche. Überhaupt war in Mailand so mancher Eintritt extrem billig oder kostenlos, die fördern Kunst wenigstens noch. Es ...

... by artist Elena Ballarini caught our eye. These are so masterful that they look like photographs! The artist’s father is the owner of the gallery and he spent time with us talking about his daughter and her art. Quite fascinating—check it out: www.wildlifeart.it. He was even kind enough to suggest a place for dinner and called in a reservation for us. What a lovely gesture and so welcoming.

... to buy. A lot of "Thanksgiving" items aren't easily attainable in Milan - like a giant turkey or cranberry sauce.

Dorian came over to my house after class and we worked on a project for our Fashion and Luxury class until it was about 8:40. The dinner started at 9 pm (seeing as how all Italians eat very late). It was strange not having Thanksgiving at around four in the afternoon, but hey, I can't be choosy here about when I eat my Thanksgiving meal! ...
