... mosaics. I had never tried it but was always interested! All we needed was tile adhesive/glue and glass pieces. Lynn broke unused dishes/mirrors for our supplies. It was fun to work with the variety of different shapes and put it together like a puzzle. The LOVE stone in the middle was found on the lake shore. ... The beers here were pretty decent, some more-so than others.  The best beer, I felt, was the Beltaine Scottish Ale.  The Singing Sands Oatmeal Stout was pretty good, too. Overall, this was a pretty good place to get dinner and have a few beers.  I would definitely recommend going if you find yourself in Michigan City.  I wouldn't go out of my way to go to Michigan City to find this brewpub, though. ...

... thoughts that Mr. Seaman was an ex-marine who didn't take to kindly to city boys squatting on 'his' wilderness area, haunted by stories of over-zealous Forest Rangers, and pondering how many insects per cubic foot there could possibly be in the minivan's personal envelope, I drifted off to sleep.

... is like San Francisco in that it quickly changes. It was about 75 degrees and I was sweating prior to entering the Museum of Contemporary Art. I left an hour later, around 1:30 pm, and the temperature had dropped 15 degrees as the wind changed and came in off the lake. Brrrr! Too cold to live here! Smokers, come here before Jan. '08.
