... we went through security. Scores of people were waiting. There were some shops, one selling garish Italian ice cream. Bangkok Airways had a lounge with free drinks and cakes so we waited there with for an hour or so, using the free wifi to research Chiang Mai. ... like a huge kmart/myer type store but sell food too. We also went to a large IT shopping centre, pretty much like a huge harvey norman/markets, prices are fairly comparable to Australia, maybe $50-$100 cheaper, maybe. I left Bangkok this morning at 9 am, I was quite surprised, quite a few came to say cheerio to me, I was surprised, things are different now Dave has gone wandering, I think his continual moaning and complaining has dragged everyone down, the atmosphere is really different now, people smile and say good morning
