Ostensibly we were to see how the jewellery was made but we were soon shown into a large saleroom where we had a dedicated salesperson to show us round. We had been previously advised by the guide that this would happen but that we should not feel under any obligation to buy. In the event we managed to escape though came very close to

For a stage show, the production values were stunning and the performances were equally so. It isn't any wonder why this is the second best show in the world. I can't say I'm a fan of Cabaret or Drag and would probably never see one again but if you are ever near or in Pattaya, the show is definitely worth a watch. ...

... the sea was far from clean enough for swimming. That day we switched hotels and enjoyed a welcome swim in the pool. The hotel wasn't great, but for the price was adequate, and we only had three nights there. That night we explored the area around the hotel and struck gold when we found not one, but two Irish themed pubs. These were the first bars we'd found that didn't serve prostitutes on the menu and it was like a little oasis of calm inside! We swiftly ordered ...
