    ... on the way back to stop in a place called Dazaifu. It is famous for a beautiful shrine as well as a popular sweet - a type of baked mochi filled with red bean paste. We stopped for some ice coffee and green tea and some mochi, then browsed through a few local souvenir shops. We rode the train back to Fukuoka, arriving back after 6 pm.     Our bus ride this morning, while very pleasant, did not pan out exactly as we hoped. However, I am posting this blog so everyone will know that we have arrived in Saga and all is well.
