After a short recording session (one song for $20 on your own CD) we braved the crowds to find the Hard Rock Cafe a few blocks down Broadway, right into the middle of CMA Fest!!  I'm happy to report we successfully acquired the requisite souvenir t-shirts and headed back upstream in the heat and humidity back to the parking garage - and got there with TWO MINUTES TO SPARE. Then we made our escape to the Opry Mills Mall enjoying some air conditioned window shopping ...

Hit the BP station in Metropolis, IL randomly and the boys were excited to find out that it's Superman's hometown. Even the gas station had these sweet cutouts to pose with. They want to collect stickers from all of the states as we travel so we were able to get a fun one. As we travel further south the people seem to get more polite. Less fashionable perhaps but definitely kinder and more considerate. Made it to Kentucky!!! ...

... it too commercialized. It can't compare with the antiques stores on the east coast. We then went to the Johnny Cash Museum in Nashville. It was fun, informative and interesting. What an intriguing person he was. If you are in the Nashville area, put in your agenda. I have attached some photos.
