The train takes about 1 1/2 hours to wind its way up the side of the mountains.

... meet us at Cairns Airport.

  • The plane trip was 3 hours and 10mins. We had a device to watch movies or listen to music, but I didn't feel well halfway through so I slept on mum. The back half of the plane were all Indian.
