... the world go by for the rest of the afternoon which was nice and peaceful. A band was playing nearby and they were quite good too. As the sun began to sink I went for a walk around the harbour and read some of the signs with interpretive stories before watching the lorikeets begin roosting in the trees. Wandered back to the hostel and moved my bed down to the lower bunk (the people below had left and seeing as I have ...

08:45 On the way to Green Island! Very excited. Have had to come in from the top deck as was getting covered in spray -don't want to start the day damp! The reefs we went to were in very good health with very few dead corals so we had a festival of ...

... of cheap Tuesday's at the cinema and checked out Jurassic World which was very good! We then met up with Kristy, a girl we met on our Fraser Island trip, and had a few drinks with her in a bar. We turned down a night out though and retired back to our hostel just before midnight. The next day was our final day of travelling. We prayed for some sun and hoped to just chill around by the lagoon again but it rained heavily all morning. Eventually it stopped and, although ...

... kinda... spacey.' Brilliant film. My Loka tour carried the next day with a group of us heading up North on the train. I won't bore you with details for now but we spent two days in a hostel in Emu Park basically doing bugger all but tanning and playing cards. On our second night however, we headed to a remote campsite to spend a night in a swag. We built a huge fire and sat around eating marshmallows under the stars, nice and peaceful it was. The following day was mainly spent ...
