We had a late lunch/early dinner at The Cheesecake Factory in the mall and it was good as expected.
Interestingly a thunderstorm rolled through that forced us to take a taxi back to the hotel. Everyone was to bed early in anticipation of tomorrow's 8 hour drive.
Only one flight to go! Not a bad view for an airport.
While waiting at our gate, Mimi spotted a guy carrying some goodies from Popeyes Chicken - my fav! She alerted me to the fact and off I went on an expedition to track it down! Thirty minutes later I returned victorious with a box of delicious fried chicken, along with some antihistamines and vicks for my disheveled looking travel companion.
On to Chicago...
... Not the first time that's happened folks. We had a great time catching up and filling our faces. We then headed over to another mall area, somewhat older, but it has the 2002 Olympic wall with names of the volunteers. There is bright lights is Bea's name with a picture that has her son Erik pointing to the name.
