Tis the night before flight, only 1 creature remain stirring, while the other is with wine and close to his sight blurring. Day 2. Started off in 20% chance of afternoon showers at 730. Then if I would have gone another 20 miles I could have saved a bundle on the hotel, but I was tired and it was getting dark. ... It feels good to be so small and the childlike part of me that blatantly and ferociously fought to be on this adventure is looking forward to the unknown again... P.S. Exactly twelve hours of two trains and over an hour standing on a bus plus a three hour delay in Tampa equals my days travel. I made an amateur travellers' mistake today and that was to 'look forward' to a great train ride and being on the move - expectations are a definite 'no-no' ...

Well, I am back in Tampa, waiting out the last of winter. It's not just the cold, but most of the country is still brown and lifeless, even in the south. No fun to travel thru.
