We heard an ad on the radio about a BBQ festival in Oklahoma, it wasn't to far away so this was something we just had to check out. We arrived just after it started and they were already running out of the $6 tasting kits, the kits allowed you to sample about 12 stalls BBQ offerings; bargain! The stalls were all running out of food fast so we tried to sample as much as we could, pulled pork was the star but it was all so ...
... stove top toaster and to get the chemicals for the toilet. Kindy did an awesome job of navigating in a cramped parking lot, that had no RV parking. Weird for a place that services, sells and provisions RVs. Kindy finally had to park in the RV sales lot. We had a look at some of the RVs... wooow some pretty nice rigs, much better laid out and appointed that Bridget (sorry girl), but also mostly way out of any price range we might consider. ...
... we were allowed to stay there so it ended up taking a bit of talking to convince them of that, but in the end, they gave their apologies and we went back to bed. But we couldn’t fall back asleep. I sat up and checked Facebook while John tossed and turned. I finally tried going back to bed at 4:30a, but with the alarm going off at 6am, it wasn’t very good sleep.

We began our day at the JM Davis Gun Museum in Claremore. It is the largest privately owned gun collection in the world. The boys loved looking at the weapons but 50,000 was overwhelming!
We traveled on Old Route 66 to our next stop at the Blue Whale. It was formerly in a swimming lake.
Moving on we stopped for a picture at the Arcadia Round Barn.
We stopped for some refreshment at Pops where they have hundreds of different pop to choose ...
We made an early detour to the RV dealer to have the camper cable checked out then we were off to Atlanta for our first kitschy stop. Paul Bunyon holding a hotdog! Ate custard at Historic Ted Drewes Frozen Custard in St Louis. See if you can guess who ate ...
