“yard sale” season are the day that I get to chauffeur Gail all
over the country side so she can hunt for bargains. She finds all the
sales and hands me the addresses and I set up the route, then it's

we took to the streets. Our first stop sort of set the stage for what

there was light talking and of course more eating and then it
happened. BAM, the lights were off. Immediately I look at the clock
on the wall, cold chills run up my spine could it be? Could it be 3
hours since we all arrived? YES, YES it was! My God this man has

Looking around it seems that we are yet again going to navigate our way through a gift shop. The kitschy key chains with blinking names (but never my name?) are on display, right next to palm tree mugs and picture frames shaped like sunglasses. T-shirts line the walls and sweatshirts are folded in two foot tall stacks just waiting to be dug through to find the right size and color to scream that you were “here!”
... bridge tender called us on 09 VHF and said that traffic was light and he'd be happy to let us pass! Of course, we were thrilled to accept his considerate offer. For any bridge -- and especially this one, with a nasty reputation for its sometimes surly operators -- such considerations are rare. Thank you, kind sir! (Tip of the hat)
