We drove east through Youngstown and north through Warren, PA along the Allegheny River in  up over the Allegheny Plateau into New York State, then east about another 100 miles to Corning, New York, then north again 20 miles to Watkins Glen, NY.  About 240 miles. On Day 2, we left Chambersburg and headed northwest 200 miles to the Allegheny National Forest. It was overcast with periods of light rain most of the way. But, it was a beautiful drive through the back roads in the mountains.

... making some work-related phone calls, a Doctor Who marathon ensued.

The next morning, Don came by for us around 9:15 am in the pouring rain and we drove to a daycare about 20 minutes away. The kids there were pretty fantastic…John had them belly laughing in no time and upon us leaving, one kid yelled, "That was a funny clown!" Good to leave the customer satisfied. ;)
