Woke up to rain today. After breakfast drove over to St. John's church which was built in 1821. Next to it was an amazing oak tree that is over 500 years old.
We then drove to the factory where Tabasco sauce is made. Angie was in heaven. Got some free samples to take along.
On the way back to the hotel, Spotted another casino, Cypress Bayou. Had to make another stop.

... it was the size of a Walmart. It was fantastic. All kinds of food, candy, sodas, coffee, toys, jerky, and whatever you can imagine. The bathrooms were amazing. I tried to take some photos inside the men's room, but almost got beat up. We spent about half an hour there. Got back on the road, and drove on to Houston. As we approached the city, we got stuck in a massive traffic jam caused by freeway construction. ...

... but really not much. I found us a "hidden gem" of a locals restaurant and we popped in there for a bite to eat. It turned out that it was not much of a gem and that likely the locals would like it to remain local.
