... afternoon we went again to Sumter Landing to see the Mini Cooper Show. There were one or two oldies but the majority were the re-introduced models and there were lots of them. We've also visited the Marion Markets again to pick up lovely fresh farm produce.
Of course we've also been watching the Arnold Palmer Invitational golf tournament being held at Bay Hill in Orlando. As I write Tiger Woods is leading by one shot. I wonder whether he'll be able to win this ...
The paper says today is the first day of spring but looking at the temperature forecasts for home I'm tempted to wish everyone "Happy Summer". It's beautiful here too - temps around 86 degrees and sunny.
Today we're on our own again & hopefully we made our last trek this trip into Orlando. I say this because of the warning message we'd had on the Jag - but more about that later.

Today we introduced Marty to the other side of Florida - both literally and figuratively - as we drove the "engine malfunctioning" Jag to St. Augustine on the Atlantic side of Florida. Once again it was a beautiful morning and we drove through very different countryside to the last trip to Clearwater Beach. Quite close to us in the Villages is Lake Weir and orchard groves, followed by a trip through the Ocala National Forest (immediately west of Daytona Beach) ...
