... y’all and there’s a subtle but distinctive southern drawl to some people’s speech. There are still strong Texan and Mexican influences here. Tex Mex is the food of choice. I’ve never made the connection before but Tex Mex now obviously stands for Texas Mexican. There is an abundance of good food here, from Mothers, a small, Tex Mexish vegetarian restaurant to Amy’s, an Austin institution selling ice-cream in unusual flavours ...
