After a day travelling on a couple of planes and a bus, I got to downtown Austin and checked in. Had a bit of a wonder around and went to the supermarket. Whole foods, best supermarket I've been in! Full of organic and healthy foods, loads of variation and random stuff to buy. It also had a bar and a few places to eat inside the supermarket! Anyway other than that there wasn't much left of ...

The car was already packed with our luggage but with two more people and their luggage it was packed to the max.We tight some luggage even on the trunk and when it started raining we had to put all of it in the car which means no space to move for the next 4 hours. We got some chipotle burrito ...

... to the edge of Austin's downtown area. Kelsey got her Starbucks fix (in the same store we stopped in yesterday, and the same people were working, and I was wearing the same outfit - oh the shame!), and then we turned around and walked straight out of the city.

As soon as you cross the bridge over Ladybird Lake and hit South Congress, Austin starts getting weird. It wasn't long before we were spotting all kinds of street art, gazing at Electric Cocks (a food truck), ...
