... br> "Newhouse" is running like a champ. Almost 8 miles to the gallon and we are running about 6 miles an hour. And, yes, this is a sailboat but we can't sail in the channel as it's too narrow. Won't shake out the sails until we get the Gulf which is about 400 miles down the river.
It's great to be back on the water and seeing all these wonderful sights. Fall colors are just about over but it's still grand.

Day 26; Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama
Greetings, from Decatur, Alabama - just west of Huntsville (pretty much smack in the northern center of the state).
Today was a 400+ mile drive that started early in Boone. Both Matt and Andrea had to leave home early, and we needed to get moving too, so we woke up early, said our goodbye's and were mobile by 8. It did, however, take some time to weave our way out of North Carolina.

It is now September 2012. Harry has been working hard and I have been, well, working hard and running around the country. Back to Texas a couple of times, to Minnesota, to Baltimore and Atlanta. Well we are off west and are able to stay at military camps.Yhis one is just a couple of years old,has level concrete pads, and best of all a terrific dog run area.
