... a mechanical delay. Fortunately, we had given ourselves a nice, cushy, 3 hour layover in ATL, so there was no problem making our Amsterdam connection. We arrive tomorrow (Saturday) around 10am and have a full scheduled planned. We will keep you informed of our journey on this blog. Stay tuned for more pics and stories!
Over the course of four-hour discussion, Kathy, Lin, Judy and Catherine explained how they ran their "lean, flat, organisation." This characteristic allows BCD to enjoy considerable proximity to customers, which develops positive long-term relationships. This has also allowed BCD to adapt its technology offering to the customer's needs, a far cry from the "one size fits all" model of other TMCs. I was particularly surprised to learn that ...
... all, a very hectic month ahead. But as I discussed in my previous post, this time will certainly help me understand what BCD travel is all about. My bullet points only tell you where I'll be going. They don't show the depth and breadth of my exposure to the company. In order to find out about that (and more) you'll just need to keep reading this blog! For now, I'll just wish you good night from Atlanta, where this extraordinary experience begins.

We arrived a little earlier than anticipated and they stilllet us check in early. Seeing that we were traveling with two small children, the rearranged rooms so that we could have a bottom floor room. Rooms were clean and problem free. Shuttle to the aiport was a plus but the earliest time available is 4:40am so watch out if you have an early flight. Overall impressed at the staff facilities and amenities!
