... up on the 190 to Rochester. <br><br>The I90 is an older road, but its smooth sailing. Not a lot of traffic, and a beautiful sunny day. At Rochester I took the 390 down to the south end of the state. What a beautiful drive. The colors were out on the trees, and about 1/2 way down there was on the horizon a wind farm with 20 or 30 windmills turning lazily in the wind. ... the way. Saturday was a gorgeous day at the Lake; evidently those have been few and far between this summer. The 6 girls shopped at the Windmill and rode the jetskis, swam and went for a boat ride. The 3 sisters relaxed and partook of adult beverages!

... it is time to deal with the fish. So I got a shipping cooler from the pet store. I then made a box with lots of padding that the cooler could fit into. Then I bagged the fish and put them in wide mouthed one gallon jugs so that even if the box got squished Fred and Ted would be protected. ... BBQ joints. I want to eat as many different kinds of BBQ as I can on my way. So if you know of a great place to eat on 66 or in any of the above cities please drop me a line. I will also be looking for cheap pet friendly motels and campgrounds. This is a once in a lifetime trip for me and I have always wanted to do something like this. I am really excited about the trip.

I knew before beginning the trip that I wanted to offset my emissions which would be pretty substantial because of the nearly 25,000 miles I'd be flying. And when I returned home I was pleasantly surprised to see how my ecologically minded gentle prodding had begun to take effect on my family. It was a perfect night for sleeping. I love camping weather that is cold enough that you have to snuggle in the sleeping bag, but not so cold that you get cold during the night.
