Here was another major metropolis that I struggled to get through, taking a few wrong turns here and there but weaves my way out of it and into Sepulpa which was a great relief, I think I may need to acquire a GPS or Tom Tom for the next time I plan on doing anything like this hahahaha. ... lot of traffic. We had lunch at the Pancake Hut in Carthage and ate the state dish, chicken fried steaks. We took a turning for Catoosa, but it turned out to be a red herring so we missed the Blue Whale landmark. We did find our hotel at Broken Arrow, just south of Tulsa without any trouble though. It had a lively bar with cheap beer. Having had a filling lunch, we ate gas station snacks in our room as it was far too late to get a meal ...
Final Thoughts
... that train pass! When I told John I didn't want to carry a purse any more, he is appalled to think that every time I go to pay for something now I'll have to pull up my shirt and dig into my pants! Maybe I won't go that far!
Everyone in Europe seems to smoke. Restaurants are smoke free for the most part, but bars are not, and with all the open air cafes, there is smoking going on when you are eating. It's been so long since that was the situation here ...
