We spent a very fast paced 3 days with our grandsons. We took them for the day on Sunday and anyone that has ever kept 3 little boys, 8, 7 and 6, know that is a tiring:)
We took them back to the camper for lunch and over to see the light house on St. Marks. There is a little hiking trail that the boys enjoyed. Overall a great visit. Also our oldest just got a house and we helped by keeping the boys away so they could paint the day away.
And finally..... we have ourselves on the road for our summer travels. After all the RV prep and waving goodbye to work for the summer, we have finally put some miles on the road -- feels good. However, we haven't even made it out of the state yet! We are already finding some interesting places in northern Florida, so we're taking this opportunity to see our state capital and the Panhandle ...

My early start was completely ruined by my laundry. I was feeling pretty horrible when I awoke, I needed more sleep. But that just wasn't an option, I needed to push on. I had been told of something called a National Seashore by Erin in New Orleans. It's basically a national park on the seashore, and there was one here in Pensacola. ... and decide to stop for the night in Perry. We didn't see much of it, but decided to stay in a best western which looked nice, the hotel attendant was very nice, Piper, we checked in and were pleasantly surprised when she discounted the rate by 50% and then proceeded to upgrade us to a suite. Very kind southern hospitality ... Room was nice, big and gave us a little space also. We set off around 9:00am Monday for Nth Carolina to see wades ...
