      ... outside of Charlotte, SC.

Mom missed the hotel exit and then when we turned around, the Waze driving device had us make a complete 360 and travel 6 more miles to a completely different exit. Go figure.

Once in the hotel, we were going to bed on a sleeper sofa. When mom sit down, the foot of the bed flipped up in the air almost sending her to the floor. It was a wild ride.

      Night nite, sweet dreams.

... there were claims of warming effects that were tempting.

Later we threw up the tent. Instead of everyone bringing their own we all carried pieces of a 6 person in hopes it would be more convenient/ warmer. It was definitely not warmer... I froze my tush off! It wasn't so bad at the beginning when we were telling not so scary stories (more like disturbing thoughts without the thrill) and chatting away. ... Mark.

Greenville is more of less the capital of South Carolina Upcountry, the part of state nearest mountains. It’s always impressed me as especially straight-laced and conservative area, although Anne tells me significant streak of more modern thinking does exist in some in-town neighborhoods. The Greenville County Museum of Art is quite small with displays of works by South Carolinian William Johnson and a substantial amount of Andrew ...

      ... puppy Nismo!

Greenville reminds me of NOVA in that it is a more developed area and a very similar culture. There is also some kick butt climbing and backpacking nearby which I will be experiencing here shortly.

Ryan and Jordan are now engaged and they are getting married in October! At a beautiful area in Lake Lure not too far from Greenville. I can't wait! I wish them a long and happy life together <3
