I am an avid Alaskan Outdoors men and love everything the "Last Frontier" has to offer. Early morning on St Patrick's day I awoke and just happen to look outside. I saw one of the most beautiful Aurora displays I have ever seen.
I quickly ran around the house to find my camera gear and rushed outside in the sub zero temperature and proceeded to snap pictures of the display.

Anchorage is an amazing city that provides great opportunities for active people. There are miles and miles of jogging/biking trails which are converted to X-country skiing and multi use trails as the snow takes over. There are also an abundance of mountain trails in the surrounding Chugach Mountains.
My first big adventure here ...
Tuesday, May 29, 2012 we changed our plan and decided not to go to Seward which would be a lot more driving. We decided to just return to Anchorage and spend some time there.
