Day 28 - Oklahoma! Four weeks on the road.
... mph felt like 50 mph. It wasn't the season to see corn as high as an elephants eye, but watching hawks turn lazy circles in the sky is no joke - I saw dozens of them. Ryan said he's seen them in many states, I haven't noticed like I did today. Very cool.

Reide, Sally, Ride
Today was a long riding day, which I love but too much of it was on 4 lane highways. I much prefer 2 lane back roads.
Oklahoma has kept much of the old Route 66 but has expanded lots of it into four lane, especially through the towns' access roads. But more than half was great riding. I travelled through Tulsa but the Gilcrease Museum; with its history of Western culture was closed. I will have to remember that many public institutions are closed on Mondays. ...

... some nutritional value and I won't need tea hahahaha. The sad thing is McLean is almost a ghost town, everything that is empty is decaying to the state of ruin, that being said there is nothing here either, wide open flat plains with very little in the way of trees. It has it's charm but without income there is no wonder these places are slowly ...
